Call for Session Proposals open in june 2026

FEMS MICRO 2027 will feature an open call for session proposals, alongside opportunities for researchers to submit both short abstracts (poster only) and extended abstracts (oral presentations within thematic sessions).

We invite the microbiology community to help shape the scientific programme by proposing innovative, relevant, and forward looking session topics. Submitted proposals will be reviewed by the Programme Committee, with selected sessions integrated into the main programme. All submissions will undergo peer review to ensure a highquality, diverse, and scientifically robust programme.

In addition to session proposals, we welcome abstract submissions from researchers at all career stages.
